BelongED consolidates the key published datasets that describe how a school is performing and who it serves. That includes attendance and absence, suspensions and permanent exclusions, attainment and Progress 8, Ofsted inspection outcomes and detailed pupil and community context, together with historical trends over time.

Attendance and persistent absence figures are drawn from published Department for Education (DfE) data. Missing or suppressed figures are left as gaps in the chart — they are never coerced to zero.

Suspension rates, the percentage of pupils with at least one suspension and permanent exclusion rates are shown alongside national comparisons where the source data supports it.

Attainment 8, Progress 8, and grade 4+ and 5+ in English and maths are shown for each secondary school where DfE publishes them.

Where a school has an approved predecessor relationship in the official DfE lineage record, BelongED renders its historical data as one continuous timeline. Predecessor history is shown only when the lineage is explicitly validated.
